Overview
Goal:
Cognizant Trizetto is a company that
provides products and solutions for patient healthcare.
Since 1994 Cognizant has internationally built strong partnerships with various companies and has engineered modern and innovative solutions.
Project Duration:1 Month
I worked as the UX Designer along with a Project manager, two backend developers and one frontend developer.
Role:
The goal of the Assignment is to create a improved dashboard, enabling users to easily and effectively view specific products and their areas of coverage for a healthcare client. As well as to coordinate with the company’s mission to create innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
I was in charge of research, creating the visuals and interactive features of the dashboard.
UX Audit
The objective of this project is to create a improved dashboard that enables users to easily and effectively access specific product areas in the business Value Chain matrix.
Key Problems:
1.Lack of Organization and Consistency of solutions.
2.Lack of specificity of categorization of solutions.
3.Overwhelming amounts of solutions that overlap in various areas that make it confusing to focus on.
4.Layout is congested and text appears small and difficult to read.
The dashboard is meant to allow a synchronized view of for the product teams at Cognizant TriZetto to see of all the services coverage. Making a dashboard with less overlap and more specificity and clarity.
The Solution
Search Bar:
While researching I noticed that there was a lack in convenience and straightforwardness in accessing a specific product and solution. The original was clumped and overlapped so there is at some point a inability to see full areas of coverage.
I created a search bar that enables the user to enter the desired solution without being frustrated with the lack of ability to view and decipher the areas where the solution they are looking for has coverage.
Next Steps:
Filter:
I wanted to address lack clarity and all of the undesired areas that a user can view all at once.
I created a filter that enables the user to get access to their desired solution and only the areas that it is applied to.
Takeaways✨:
With my time being an intern at Cognizant, I have learned the importance of consistent communication and collaboration. I saw that throughout every step of the project it was necessary to reach out while making advancements. And especially having close communication with engineers, as it is necessary to be clear and thorough in handing off a design for the difficult task of coding and backend development.
1.To further develop the filter to show areas that have a high potentiality for coverage for solutions.
2. To further develop the backend development so the dashboard can be ready for multifunctional use by users.
3. To present to stakeholders in a data driven and fully developed state.
I have completed my internship at Cognizant, but here are the next steps I would take if I was still working on this Assignment.
Dashboard Layout:
The overall outline of the original structure was outdated and not organized which was a barrier in users easily getting to the end goal of their journey.
I developed a new layout that helps users navigate comfortably and easily.
