Re-imagened Book Cover Project

A different concept for the cover of the popular book “The Stranger” by Albert Camus.

The goal of this project was to create a new concept for a book cover of an existing book. With choosing the book “The Stranger” I wanted to shift from it’s black and white cover into something colorful. I aimed to use colors and create unsettling composition of a largely scaled anonymous face in the midst of wandering shadows. This was to bring forth the same feeling of discomfort and unease that the title evokes.
